Evolution of Graham Bell's Telephone to Today's Smartphone

The scientist who had discovered telegraph or Alexander Graham Bell who invented might not never ever dreamt about the evolution of the telephone in to a completely different shape with such a ultra performing Smart phones.

Mankind loses the tail during the process of evoultion, likewise , telephone loses its keypad in a short span of its evolutionary process. In future, there is no wonder, even if it loose its screen which results in touch-less smart gadget.
Here is the brief timeline of the Evolution of smart phones that we are using now.



> Telephonic Era
  • Even Before Alexander Graham Bell , many scientists had contributed in the invention of telephone. But Finally Telegraph had an evolution to telephone in 1874 by Graham Bell.
  • Within 150 years that Graham Bell's telephone has been morpholized into a smart shape with ultra smart features.
>Radio Phone Era
  • After the invention of telephone , there was a gradual infrastructure development in the land-line telephone structures which tried to connect the world by wires. 
  • Side by side new inventions like will phone and Radio phone were given birth which laid the foundation for cell phone era
>Brick Cell Phone Era
  • Finally the first commercial mobile phone was used in 1941 , which was a huge brick like size with an antenna in its head. Industries had realized the power of that brick phone very soon and develop the infrastructures like cell phone towers in the Urban area of the western countries.
  • Industries started investing in manufacturing units of the phones. But because of high cost, it took some time to take the heat up.
  • Bell labs were the First company to started manufacturing Chips for first generation cell phones and AT&T was the First subscriber company which provided network for the users in 1960s
>Handheld Phone Era
  • In the late of 1970s western countries started to manufacture hand-phones in large scales.
  • Gradually the brick-phone became to mini brick and finally to hand held phone.
  • Unique numbers were provided to the users and new network providers emerged in the various part of the world
  • In late 1990s companies like Nokia,Motorola lead the market and add variety of models of cell phones in the market.
> Smart Phone Era
  • Smart phone Era has begun already. Key pads in the phones become an endangered feature. At any time the hand-phone may be completely vanished from the market. Touch screen has made ease to use the features of mobile phone more easily and with fun too.
                                        
  • The first touch screen mobile was introduced by IBM with a name called SIMON. So , it made a breakthrough in the evolution of Smartphone.
  • Smartphones not only vanished the hand phone era. It almost suppressed most of the electronic gadgets like calculator, camera,watch,calendar etc.

> Future of smartphone era
  • In future it is expected that there is no more screens for smartphones. 
  • Screen less phones is one concept of future.
  • On the otherhand, companies like Google, Samsung try to force the watch like smartphones into the market. But it will not take too much time to see the next era of telephone.

  • Aircel makes this migration process very simple through online itself.
  • AIrcel Introduced a new option called design your own plan. YOu can go to the aircel official website and select this option and choose any Prepaid or postpaid plans that suitable for you by providing your current mobile number.
  • WIthin one day AIrcel customer care person will call you and confirm the request and proceed to change the Prepaid to postpaid plan and vice versa.
>Vodafone
>Airtel 
  • In Airtel you have to approach the nearest Airtel Retail shop to do the conversion or migration process from Prepaid to postpaid and vice versa.
  • No charges will be deducted for this conversion process in Airtel
>Tata DoCoMo
  • Currently online migration of Docomo prepaid to postpaid or Postpaid to prepaid is not possible. You should request through complaint helpline number 198 or approcach the nearest Docomo retail center.
>Idea cellular 
  • Currently there is no option in Idea cellular to migrate from Postpaid to prepaid or vice versa.

> BSNL 
    In BSNL GSM , strictly there is no option at present to convert postpaid into prepaid plan or to migrate prepaid sim in to prepaid plan.
    The only solution is to get a new SIM card with fresh number.
    You can use MNP facility to convert into other network .After 6 months you can switch the same number to BSNL postpaid or prepaid. But note that this trick require 6 months wait period.
>Uninor 






  • In Uninor You can switch your Postpaid connection to prepaid or Vice versa . YOu have to pay a non refundable amount of Rs 19 apart from SIM cost.
  • If there is any balance in talk time , they will not be transferred.
  • For this Uninor migratio process you have to approach your nearest Uninor Store.
  • > Reliance 
    • In Reliance , there is no smooth procedure for this migration of postpaid into prepaid and Vice versa.
    • At your own risk you can proceed by contacting any nearest Reliance Retail Shop.

    You can wonder youtube doesn't cost you any fee for watching their videos , then how do they make profit. Youtube earns lot of revenue using the following strategies.
    • You might have notice 1 to 2 minute advertisement at the starting of majority of youtube videos. Those advertisement videos are sponsored by third party companies and they pay youtube for displaying their ads in Youtube videos. Youtube give some percentage of money to the video uploaded person and keep remaining money as commission.

    • Google provides almost all of its services like Search, Gmail, Google+ , chrome for free of cost
    • But they are the one who makes a lot of profit using these services.

    • For example you may notice that the first mail in Gmail is titled as Sponsered, It is nothing but an advertisement.

    • Everybody knows that facebook is absolutely free. But they are next to amazon.com to make a lot of revenue and profit.

    How to Replace New Standard chartered Debit / Credit card for Old or Stolen Card

    Whether you card is stolen or your card is not detecting in ATM centers becuase of so many scratches, you need to follow the below procedure to request a new standard Chartered Debit or Credit card.


    To replace standard chartered debit / credit card

    1. Call to phone banking number that is available in the bank of your current standard chartered debit card.If you don't have the card at your hand, see here for the phone banking number.
    2. Choose the option of speaking to customer care person by pressing appropriate number
    3. Request then that you need a new card as the current card become very old and not detecting or If your card is stolen , inform that you missed the card
    4. Now customer care person will block your current card number to prevent any further transaction using that number.
    5. Further he will initiate for a new debit / Credit card as per your request.
    6. Within one week you will receive your new card to your registered address with the bank and in next two days you will receive the PIN code letter for the new card.
    7. Open it carefully without any scratches and note the secret PIN code.
    8. Go to near VISA supported ATM or any Standard Chartered ATM to enable to card for first time.
    9. Do not forget to change the PIN code for security reasons.
    10. Thereafter you can use your new card as usual for all transactions in any ATM and merchant centers.

    • In Vodafone Pay Per Second is alternatively called as Per Second Pulse.
      You can do a ERC of 44 INR to change to Per second Pulse scheme with lifetime validity.
      But Just Inquire with your customer care before doing this recharge.
    >Airtel

    • If you call from other network , call  9810012345 for Postpaid related complaints and queries
    • and call 9810198101 for Prepaid related problems and issues.
    > Tata DoCoMo
    • For Docomo, there is no Pay Per Minute plan. All Tata Docomo prepaids are of pay per second plan.
      I have to remind the Docomo is the first network to introduce Pay per second plan.
      Due to market competition all other Indian networks shifted to this plan with no other way.
    > Idea cellular 
    • From Idea cellular mobile number, call toll free helpline 198 to request for pay per second Migration.

    > BSNL 
    • Send SMS as  MSEC to 53733
    • You should have balance 36 Rupees for this pay per second conversion.
    • The Balance will be deducted once you send the SMS from your BSNL mobile.
    • Otherwise you can do a ERC of Rupees 36
    >Uninor 







  • Uninor does not have any pay per second migration scheme. Instead you can do a recharge which offers you per second tarriff for specific validity.




  • > Reliance 
    • By doing One time Recharge ERC of Rupees 49, your prepaid Reliance SIM will convert into Pay Per Second Plan with lifetime validity.
