Telus Mobility: Find PUK code & Reset PIN number for Telus SIM Canada

If you entered your PIN number wrongly for three times, your Telus SIM card will ask for PUK code.



Unfortunately,Telus is not allowing the users to view the PUK code through online.If you want to generate PUK for Telus , follow any one below method.

Remember that PUK code cannot be generated by any downloaded software. So be aware to avoid unnecessary blocking of your SIM card because of incorrect PUK code attempts.

>Through contacting Telus customer care person

• From a Telus mobile number , dial 611
• Speak with customer care person to request PUK code to unlock your Telus SIM card

>Contact telus from landline or other network

• From your landline number , dial 1-866-558-2273
• If you are calling from US , then call 1-866-771-9666
• If you are calling from any other country,then call 1-416-940-5995 

The customer care person may ask the SIM number printed on your SIM card which contains 8 to 15 numbers.

Some other basic details to Confirm that you are the owner for security reasons. If you manage to convince the customer care person, then they will provide the PUK code.

Meaning of Call forwarding on conditional

Are you receiving a pop up message in your phone screen like “Call Forwarding on Conditional” , each and every time you dial an outgoing call.

Do not worry. It means that call forwarding option is activated in your mobile phone for one or more condition.

Following are the conditions , you can forward a call when the conditions is true.

Condition 1: When Busy :- means that call will be forwarded to the number you have setup , when you are busy with another call.

Condition 2: When Not reachable :- means that call will be forwarded to another mobile number you have input , when you are in a remote or not reachable location.

Condition 3: When Switched Off :- means that the incoming call will be forwarded to another mobile number , when your mobile phone is switched off.

Condition 4: When the Call is answered :- means that the incoming call will be forwarded to another mobile number , when your missed the call for certain number of rings.

Apart from this call waiting option is also available in every mobile phone.

If you want to remove this Call Forwarding on Conditional option, then go to Setting -> Phone settings -> Call settings -> Call forward .

Now uncheck or disable all the call forwarding conditions that you have enabled. Thereafter you will not receive that popup while making a call.

To Change Default App in Android

How to Change Default App in Android :

By knowingly or unknowingly we might have selected some app as default one for specific functions like browsing, watching videos etc.



Later , if you want to change the default application to some other app, then follow the procedure shown below.

As an example, here the  Default option is shifted from Android browser to Chrome Browser.

Steps :

1. Go to System Settings

2.In settings , Select and Go inside Apps.

3.Now look for the app that you need to remove the default option. For example, if you want to disable the default option for system browser, then select Browser from the list.

4.Now tap on the option Clear defaults.

5.Now if you click a web link on some other app like whats app, a pop up will ask , "Through which browser, you have to open the link"

6.Select some other browser like Chrome and tap on Always.

7.In Future , all the links will be opened through Chrome browser.

In the same way  you can shift the default option to any other functions like watching videos, Viewing Pictures, Editing Documents etc.

Check Data Balance , Talk time Balance in Aircel , BSNL , Airtel, Vodafone

 

To Check Talktime Balance in Aircel :

Just Dial *111# from your Aircel mobile number and press send or call Button.

All the Balance related information like 

• Talk Time Balance in Main Account, 
• SMS Balance  and Validity ,
• 3G Data Balance and Validity
• Special Account Talk time Balance 

will be displayed in your phone.

Some times, you can see 3G Data Balance as 50 MB for example , but validity will not be mentioned.

In this case you have to be more careful , because if you believe that you have 50 MB and browse Internet , then money will be deducted from main Account.

So, if you have validity as - (hi-fen) , then don't browse Internet.

To check 2G/3G Internet data balance in BSNL prepaid , dial the USSD code *124*1#

To Check Talktime Balance in Airtel :

To check talk time balance in Airtel prepaid , dial the USSD code *121#
To check 2G/3G Internet data balance in Airtel prepaid , dial the USSD code *121# and choose the option to check Internet data balance and validity

To Check Talktime Balance in Vodafone :

To check talk-time balance in Vodafone prepaid , dial the USSD code *141#
To check 2G/3G Internet data balance in Vodafone prepaid , dial the USSD code *111# and choose the option to check Internet data balance and validity

Remove SIM card PIN code in Android smartphone

By default every mobile network provide the SIM card to its subscribers incorporated with a PIN and PUK code.



Both these codes intends for security reason . If these security codes are enabled by the user, during mobile theft cases nobody can misuse the SIM card without knowing the PIN code.

But if the user forgot in the PIN code, then he will be in trouble. Each and every time we restart the phone, the phone will ask for PIN code to enable the mobile signal or activate the SIM card.

Nowadays, People moving towards smartphone technology. So many apps are available in the Android market to ensure the security and privacy of data and mobile.

So, it is not necessary to risk with the SIM card PIN code.

Follow the procedure to remove the PIN code from SIM card :

Literally , The PIN code cannot be removed, we can only disable it .

Step 1 : Go to settings

Step 2 : Select Security settings

Step 3: Choose Set up SIM card lock

Step 3 : If you have dual SIM , select the SIM in which you want to remove the PIN code.

Step 4:  Uncheck the Lock SIM card option. When you try to uncheck it, the pop up will open and ask for current PIN code.

Step 5: If you dont know the current PIN code, call to customer care and tell your SIM card number printed on the back SIDE of the SIM card and ask for the PIN code.

Step 6: Enter it in your phone to disable the PIN code. If you type your PIN code three times wrongly, then the SIM will be locked and ask for PUK code.

If you already locked your SIM because of incorrect attempts of PIN code, do not assume PUK code.

Reset / Unlock Android Phone without Internet without losing phone data

Guide to Unlock Android Phone Without Internet :

This method is only for Android phone PIN code and Pattern unlock and If you need to reset or remove SIM code PIN code you have to follow different procedure.

Taking Backup :

1.Switch off your android Phone by long pressing the right side button and selecting turn off option

2.Now Press Volume UP button and Power Button at the same time for 10 seconds

        Your Android phone will enter now in to the safe mode.

        You will receive a screen with Android LOGO , and a message “No command”

3.Now press power button once.

       A screen with list of option appears now as follows :

       Android System Recovery

       Volume up/down to move highlight:

       Enter button to select

          Reboot system now

          Apply update from ADB

          Apply update from sdcard

          Apply update from cache

          Wipe/data factory reset

          Wipe cache partition

          Backup user data

          Restore user data

4.Now press your volume down button until the option Backup Userdata is highlighted.

5.Once it is highlighted, press Power button.For some android phones, volume down button is for moving down the list and Volume up for Enter function.

   Now a file name of backup will be displayed and backup process will start and last for 10 to 15 minutes. Do not disturb your phone until Backup is finished. 

Note that , In some phones, during backup , the status screen will show "Installing Update" . Do not panic. Back Up Process is going on. 

This file will be saved in memory card and you can restore it later.

Reset /Unlock Password : 

After the backup is finished, you can reset your phone settings as follows.

6.Now press your volume down button until the option Wipe/data factory reset is highlighted.

7.Once it is highlighted, press Power button.       

        Now the phone will get rebooted and default settings will be appeared without any password.

Restoring the Data : 

8.If you wish to restore your data, switch off your phone and repeat step 1 to 3 and choose option restore user data to select the back up file .

Caution :

Check whether you have enough space in memory card to save the backup file.

There are three official methods provided by Indosat Mobile network to get PUK code for the locked SIM card through toll free SMS or through online website.

You can follow any one of the method to know your PUK code to reset your PIN number and unlock your blocked SIM.

Do not assume your PUK code and enter it wrongly. It will permanently block your SIM card and you have replace a new SIM card with additional cost of around 200 Rupiah.

2.      Listen the computer voice carefully and wait till the option for speaking to customer care is announced.

3.      Press the number to speak with customer care person

4.      Just tell that I want to unlock my PUK code , they will ask the details in step 1

5.      Immediately they will provide the PUK number of your SIM card

6.      Note it down correctly and end the call

7.      Now enter the PUK in your locked SIM card to unblock it.

For safety purpose, note that PUK code somewhere safely to avoid stressful situation in future.
