Chrome : To Fix the error ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR | ssl protocol error

Error display in chrome browser :

Error 107 ( ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR )

Reasons for the Error 107 : 

If your internet connection has some proxy settings, that restricts to connect with the website, then you can receive the error 111 : net::ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED in chrome. Mostly, this error will appear while visiting secured https websites like facebook, gmail, live mail,yahoo mail etc


To Solve Err Ssl protocol in chrome 

  1. If you receive this error in office / work, then you have to contact your admin to resolve the issue.
  2. Go to Chrome settings → Advanced → Proxy settings. Now Internet Properties tab will appear. Under content tab, select the option "Clear SSL state"
  3. Under privacy tab, move the slider to Low and try to connect the website again
  4. Go to Chorme Settings → Show Advanced Settings → Change Proxy Settings (under Network) → Go to Advanced tab → Security drop-down list and 'tick' on SSL 2.0, tls 1.0 .Click Apply. Close and restart your browser
  5. Try resetting your modem and reload the website.
  6. Sometimes, parental control of your anti-virus software will restrict connection. Disable parental control and try visiting the website.

Sun Cellular: Roaming activation / Deactivation in Sun cellular Prepaid / Postpaid Philippines

Roaming Activation in Sun cellular:

  1. To activate roaming in Sun prepaid sim, send an sms ROAM ON to 222. Postpaid users have to call 200 to activate roaming before 24 hours leaving Philippines

  1. If more than one modems is installed in the computer and it is trying to connect using another modem then follow the below instruction.
  2. Insert the modem that you'll be using and then an automatic prompt that will uninstall the other modems will automatically appear. After uninstalling the other modems, an automatic prompt that will install the inserted modem will appear. Follow the instructions prompted.

Error 720:

  1. If the protocol of TCP/IP run is wrong, then you need to reinstall the software from the installation cd.

  • If you consumed above 100 but below 200 units, then you fall under second slab in which 1 unit costs 1.5 Rupees. You can reduce first 100 units as concession.

AIRCEL POSTPAID : Check current plan USSD code

To know the current plan in Aircel Postpaid

  1. From your Aircel Postpaid mobile number, dial toll free number 1229
  2. Within few seconds you will receive an sms stating your current plan and current balance. Ex: 199 500 MB 3G is the plan in which the monthly basic bill is 199 rupees and 500 MB free internet with 3G activated
You can also dial 198 or 121 to know the current internet balance and base plan of your Aircel post paid number.

Unlock JIO sim :Get PUK code & Reset PIN through online or SMS for locked JIO SIM card

JIO sim card will be locked if you wrongly enter the SIM code for three times continuously. Then you will be asked for PUK code
You have to enter your eight digit PUK code to reset the PIN number to unlock your phone. This PUK code is not related to your phone like LYF, Samsung etc. PUK code is completely related to your JIO SIM card.

To know JIO PUK code and unlock JIO SIM :

  1. Dial 1800 890 9999 from another JIO mobile number, landline or any other network
  2. Follow the computer voice instruction to speak with jio customer care executive
  3. Once your call is connected with customer care person, request PUK code for your JIO sim
  4. You will be asked for some basic details like your Name, alternate number, Address, or some other details like Voter's card number to verify your identity for security purpose
  5. On successful verification, PUK code will be provided
  6. Note down the PUK code and enter it in the locked phone with JIO sim card
  7. After you press OK, you have to set a new four digit PIN code
  8. Set a new PIN code and press OK to unlock your JIO sim and use your phone as usual.


If you don't want to face such issue in future, disable SIM pin code in security settings and use some other security options like Pattern lock , or Applock.
Do not try any PUK code generator software or app online. Only JIO network can provide you the correct PUK code for your SIM.

NX: Menu access is denied Error | Solution

NX: Menu access denied

In NX modeling, while exporting a large assembly or sometimes while exporting a component, you may receive an error "Menu Access Denied"


If this error is displayed, then it means that you are trying to export a part that is not allowed to export.

In such case, you have to close those parts in specific and try to export again excluding those components.
Sometimes, this will happen in Drafting module, while trying to export a drawing sheet as part file into some other part file. If the same error "Menu access denied", then you should close all the components and try again to export the drawing.

Otherwise, you can export the drawing sheet into CGM file. But be aware that drawing views will be converted into small splines if you convert the drawing as CGM file. But, in part file, the drawing sheet will become easy editable like moving the views, editing the text and dimension etc.

What is MMI code

MMI code stands for Man Machine Interaction or Man Machine Interface code. Usually it would be a numeric code starts with * and ends with #  that looks like *123#  or *123*11# that gets the response with the network server and display the information in users screen.

Since the network provider offers 3 months unlimited free 4G internet, many people are eagerly buying the low-cost LYF mobiles in-spite of the lack of features in-order to get the JIO sim.



But many people after buying the phone with SIM complaint that the SIM activation process is delaying very much. Usually the other network operators take only 4 hours to activate the SIM.
Most of the users experiences delay up-to 10 days in the activation of Jio SIM card.

NX error : To solve "Unknown error 948956" while opening NX 8.5

There might be two reasons that cause this error.

  • License server may not be working
  • Your windows firewall settings may block the communication.


When you start NX for first time, a pop up dialog will appear to request permission to communicate with license server.

You can check the connection status using the following command in CMD prompt.

"%UGII_BASE_DIR%\ugflexlm\lmutil" lmstat -i -c %UGS_LICENSE_SERVER%

If the connection works, then the command prompt will list out all the NX modules that you are installed and their available licenses
