Troubleshoot: Pen drive not detecting in Android

When there were only windows OS laptops and Symbian operated mobile phones, we had to transfer the files from pen drive to PC and then to mobile phone by means of USB connecting cable.

But, Once Android entered into the game, the scenario changes.
We can directly connect the Pen drive to Android smartphones by means of OTG (On the GO ) cables and transfer the files directly.

Even though we can directly connect the USB drive directly to the phones, lot of us are facing difficulties to transfer files through this method.

The following troubleshooting method might help you to spot out the issue and let you to solve it and transfer your files from Pen drive to Android smartphone and Smarphone to Pen drive easily.


Method 1 :

Ensure that your pen-drive is formatted using FAT 32 method. If it is formatted using NTFS method, then Android phones could not detect your pendrive.

You can check it by inserting the Pen drive in some laptops or PC and to check it in the properties.

Solution is to copy the data in local drive, reformat into FAT 32 method, recopy the file and connect it to the Android device.

Method 2:

• Root your Android phone
• Install NTFS mounter app in your phone
• Connect the pendrive with your android device
• Transfer the data

Method 3:

Check whether your mobile phone has the capability to connect with USB drive. Some classic old modeled Android devices do not support OTG cabled USB drive connection.

Ebiz : Scam or Legit : A Genuine Review

 I can share some incidents related to this word ebiz in my past .Today I am very glad that I have not involved in this program.



FlashBack:

It was around 2007 , when I was in my 1st year of my degree course. One of my room mate made me know about this program and he said that he had lready joined in this program and probably he would be earning a solid amount cash in thousands in upcoming , through this program.

I got suspicious and asked him to explain more about this program.

He explained that ebiz is a online e-learning course and once you enrolled with this program with around 6000 INR ( not exactly I remember)  and yearly once we have to renew this program to extend the benefits.

I was very well got aware that every kind of e learning stuffs were available for free in internet.(How stuff works , wikipedia was familiar to me then) . Then why do I have to pay 6000 INR for this basic learning .

Finally he revealed the main theme of the program.

Ebiz is nothing but a Multi-level marketing program similar to Amway.
For example, MLM means you have to refer 3 guys. Those guys each refer three three guys. This will go on. For each guy you refer you will get a commission fee and this goes on .

Luckily, I had already heard about how bad is involving in MLM through my friends who experienced in Amway.

I politely rejected to join that program by telling some escaping reasons.

But, he has explained about this program to many 1st year guys and few of them around ten were brainwashed and joined that program.



It became very viral in about a month, but not as a e learning course. It was marketed as a "earn while learning " tag.

Somehow, It went to college management , and one day a circular from Principal came to every class rooms that "The program called Ebiz is strictly banned in our college , and those who are known to involving in this program will be taken severe action"

Even after that circular , some guys were involving in this program here and there secretly.

Later I came to know that a group of guys were brainwashed in many colleges and instead of concentrating in their studies , they were wasting their time in marketing this program.

Well.. Flash back is over,

now Present,

The guy who tried to brainwash me , still trying to clear the arrears exams that he accumulated because of his lack of concentration in studies.

He is still unemployed and not earning a single penny from that program.

So, I have not mentioned anywhere it is illegal or scam. But this kind of MLM program is not suitable for students. For sure, it will affect their studies.

so, Guys, whether it is a scam or genuine, Ebiz is NO NO for students.
Concentrate on your studies. That is the most valuable asset at this stage of your life you can earn. Money will come later , Don't worry.

Gas Subsidy Money to be directly deposited in consumers account : Is it a Good Strategy?

Banking Sector is highly expected to reach rapid growth in near future in India because of the recent steps taken by ruling Government in Central.

One of the important strategy, taken by the government is sending the Gas subsidy directly into the consumers bank account.
Currently the government pays half the amount of gas cylinder consumed by the people and it has been paid to the gas agencies. Reports have been claimed that malpractices are in this methodology. So, the government has decided to make sure this amount should completely reach the people and this can only be done by transferring directly to their bank account.

Now, Government hitting two mangoes by throwing a single stone.
Yes, At the end , Each family would have one bank account and other hand the gas subsidy would be fully reach the common people.

• When we think about majority of common people, they just earn and spend it their earning fully. They are not even saving a single penny for their future.
• Though some people are saving some money through some local persons who handle money by giving interests in their locality. This is very risky as there is no surity for their money to get back.

• But, if they get a bank account, they can save some money when they wish to do so. This will result in mutual benefits for government and common people.
• Government will get some money to invest in its plans. Common people will get some money as savings with interests.

Things to Concentrate in Future:

1. Rapid increase of consumers would definitely increase the rush in the banks. So , the government banks should learn to implement online banking features for already well structured private banks like ICICI, HDFC etc.
2. Mobile banking can be given more importance so that people may pay their phone bills, EB bills, recharges, etc through phone itself 

Sync Subtitle in Android | VLC , MX, KM Player

Every Video Players like VLC , MX , KM Player that have already proved their own performance has also laid their strong foot prints in Android Mobile market too.

But, still there are lot of improvements to be made in Android versions of Video Players and one of such necessary feature is Re-syncing of subtitles.



In windows and MAC , it is very easy to adjust the subtitles according to the dialogue (audio voice).
But, still this feature is lagging in Android version and iPhone versions.

Still, MX player attempted a trial step toward re-synchronizing the subtitle file. We can swipe the subtitle to the left or right to adjust plus or minus one second to re sync with the audio.

In VLC Android version, to sync the subtitle try the following steps

1. Tap on the three dots ( more options button)
2. Now select sub-title delay option
3. Now based on your requirement you can press + or - option which delays or advances the subtitle.
4. Repeat the above step till the subtitle syncs with the Audio exactly
5. Once you got the correct synchronization, remember the delay in milliseconds (ex :2500 ms) so that you can quickly set the same value , if the video is closed and restarted in between.

To adjust the subtile in Android MX Player

1. Press three vertical dots in right top corner 
2. Tap on Subtitle → Synchronization
3. Press + to delay the subtitle by 0.1 second . Repeat until it matches with voice
4. Press - to advance the subtitle by 0.1 second. Repeat until the text matches with the voice

On the other hand, BS player automatically detects correct subtitle file for your video and also sometimes automatically sync the subtitle with the audio.

You can also re-sync the subtitle srt files with video as follows ,

• Open the video and srt files in laptop or PC and manually resync using the advanced options available in most of the Windows OS players
• To download separate apps in android market to adjust the subtitle and then save it as a different file and adding it with the video . This is a very time consuming process and it will eat our time.
