VLC : To Know / Change default record location in VLC media player

The default storage location of VLC recording would be saved in My music folder for Audio clips and My Videos folder for video recording clips. You can manually change the storage location if you wish.

If you want to change the default location of VLC recording , then follow the Procedure.

1. Open VLC
2. In Menu bar , select Tools → Preferences
3. Now select for Input& Codecs in the left side of the form
4. Now in the list of options displayed on right side of the form, select Browse corresponding to Record directory or file name.
5. Choose your desired storage location and press OK
6. Save the preferences form

From Now on, all your recordings will be stored in the new location that you have set manually.

Android : To keep your favorite ringtone safe from Memory Boosters

1. Go to file explorer.
2. Copy your favorite ringtone clip
3. Now paste in the location Internal storage - Ringtones
4. Set this new one as your Ringtone.

Hereafter , even if the cache is cleaned, your favorite ringtone will be in default ringtone list.

Normal , Emergency phone calls are restricted by access control | Android Solution

Error :

Reason: 

Mostly for Android smartphone users, while calling to a person's mobile phone, sometimes you might receive this access control error. The major reason would be the network tower ,where the opposite person currently connected is under temporary maintenance.
Due to some emergency maintenance , the network signal will be restricted for their users for a very short span of time. This error is also associated with OUT OF SERVICE AREA , sometimes.

Solution:

This kind of error will be monitored and automatically solved within 5 minutes by the network provider. If it lasts for a long time, then you should make a complaint request to the network provider.

Note:

This error is purely related to the network provider like t-mobile, at&t,Airtel, Vodafone etc and it is not related with your Android equipped mobile or because of smartphones like redmi , moto G , HTC or nexus . This error can be clearly seen in Android OS and Apple ios.

NX Tutorial: To import, export Step , IGES files in NX Unigraphics → .igs .stp extension files Import

IGES and STEP are universal file formats for 3D CAD components/assemblies.
You can exchange (Export/Import) 3D CAD from one Design software to other using these file formats.
Usually IGES files would have extensions .igs or .iges
And STEP files would have extension .stp or .step



To import or Export IGES,STEP file in NX Unigraphics:
There are two ways to import  .igs file or .stp file in UG NX.

Method 1 (Import only):

1. Launch Unigraphics NX software from start menu
2. In NX menu bar, go to File → Open
3. Now in the form, choose file type as *.igs or *.stp depends on iges or step file
4. Choose the iges file and select OK. Now your IGES / STEP file is opened.

Method 2 (Import/Export):

1. Launch Siemens NX (Unigraphics)
2. Go to File → New and create a component
3. Ensure that you are in Modeling application
4. Now Go to File → Import / Export → IGES or STEP 214
5. Choose the IGES or STEP file you need to import
6. Now your file will be imported in the new part file.

NX Tutorial : To Copy curves to excel . word from NX Unigraphics Drafting

Copy curves to excel or word from NX Unigraphics

If you want to make a PPT or Excel presentation using the sketch curves that are used in NX , there is a simple option available to do so.
Ensure that you are in Drafting mode before copying the curves.

1. Open NX Unigraphics
2. Go to Drafting mode . Important thing is it will work only in Drafting mode and not in any other modules.
3. In the drawing sheet , hide the unwanted curves and keep only the curves you need to copy in Excel or PPT presentation.
4. Now In NX Menu Bar select Edit → Copy DIsplay
5. Now Go to Excel or word document and press Ctrl+V to paste the curves
6. Right click on the picture and select Edit Picture to break the curves into multiple segments so that it will become very easy to edit.
7. This procedure can be used in Powerpoint, Word and Excel doucments.
