Vodafone : To Block and allow calls and SMS (ISD, Local) | Call Barring Password for Particular Number

The default Call Barring Password for Vodafone sim card is 0000 or 1234. If you have changed call barring password and forgot it, then the best option is to contact Vodafone customer care to retrieve it.

Activate Call blocking service in Vodafone :

Send an sms ACT CB to 111

111 is a toll free number in Vodafone. So, no balance will be deducted for sending SMS to this number.

To deactivate or cancel call barring send an sms CAN CB to 111

Note that you have to deactivate call forwarding option in your mobile phone to use call barring facility.

You can block both incoming messages and calls  as well as outgoing ISD calls using this call blocking option.

To block incoming calls and SMS :

• Dial   *35* password # to start blocking incoming calls and SMS
• Dial   #35* password # to disable call barring of incoming calls and SMS.

To bar outgoing calls:

• Dial  *33* password # and Press enter to start barring outgoing calls from your Vodafone mobile number.
• Dial  #33* password # and Press call button to cancel the outgoing call blocking facility and call the numbers normally.

To block outgoing ISD calls

To protect your main balance talk time , you can block the outgoing of ISD calls in your Vodafone mobile number.

• Dial  *331* password (4 digits)# to activate the blocking of outgoing international calls
• Dial  #331* password (4 digits)# to cancel the barring facility and allow calls to abroad countries.

How to log out off facebook remotely on other forgot mobile device or PC laptop ?

Issue: 

I forgot to log out on my friends mobile when I  signed into facebook. (or)
I forgot to sign out facebook in a public computer or other family member’s laptop.

Solution:

1.Go to facebook and login with your username and  password. 

2.Click Account settings (Gear button) in the right corner. For mobile apps and mobile site it may be in different place 

3.Now a list of option like log in notifications , log in approvals will be displayed. At the last , you should see a option Where you logged in.Click that option.

4.Now a list of devices , your facebook account currently signed in will be shown. 

5.Give end activity other than current session. 

6.That’s it. You signed out of that other device that you forgot to sign out.

1.Go to portal.BSNL.in website. It is the official BSNL website to do online recharges and to pay landlines and broadband internet bills.

2.Now, select the option BSNL PRERPAID MOBILE RECHARGE.

3.If you already have log in and password for BSNL portal, use it. 

Otherwise select the option quick recharge.

4.Here give the BSNL mobile number which you want to check the talk time Balance. First test it with your BSNL number , so you easily believe it.

5.Once you enter mobile number , select Next. Here you need to give some denomination value . It’s your wish, because you are not going to complete the recharge process.

6.After selecting general top up and giving denomination values, press next.

Here you get the balance of your friend’s mobile number. Yes , this page will display the current talk time balance and validity of the Prepaid mobile number that you have entered.

Aircel : How to complaint Aircel Apellate (Grievance officere) Authority through email

If you are not satisfied with the action taken by Aircel customer care person, then you can escalate this issue by sending an email to the higher officials and authorities of Aircel customer care.

For example, if main balance account is wrongly deducted from your Aircel mobile number and you called to customer care.

Let say, the customer care person on phone refused to accept the complaint or he justifies that the deduction of talktime is correct and he couldn’t refund the amount back to your Aircel number. In this case you can escalate this issue to Aircel appellate authority for your circle.

In summary , if we call to customer care number , a person will attend the call. They belongs to Level 1 Customer Care.

If you asked to redirect to his supervisor, then he will redirect to the Nodal officer. He belongs to Level 2 Customer Care.

Still You are not satisfied with the response , you can contact the next higher level called appellate authority.

Here you may get some resolution for your problem.

If you feel that you are not satisfied with his response also, then you can file a case in consumer court. But you have to pay fee per case, that varies from 100 to 500 Rupees per consumer case.
