Dish TV: Forgot PIN code for Parental Locked channels| To reset dish TV channel lock PIN number

Dish TV channels can be locked using parental lock option available in Dish TV remote 2. But if you forgot the four digit pin code, then you have to reset the PIN number to unlock the channel.

To unlock and reset Dish TV PIN code:

1. Press Myaccount button in your Dish TV remote. MyAccount button can be found in the bottom right corner of the remote control.
2. Several Options now appear on your TV screen. Now using navigate (right arrow) button, select Help
3. Under help menu, select STB info using down arrow button
4. Now select Setup option by pressing red button
5. Now, an Installation menu opens
6. Using down arrow button, select Restore Factory settings option
7. Press OK (red button) to reset your PIN code
8. A warning message will appear. Press OK button again.
9. Now press Exit . (Yellow Button),
10. Your Set top box will restart and EPG list will be updated and PIN code number will be reseted.

Dish TV movie on demand sms codes | Dish TV MOD

In Dish TV, MOD (Movie on Demand) channels are allocated to telecast new bollywood movies. In order to watch the new movies telecasted under Movie on Demand channel, the user has to send an sms code to order and watch the movie.

To activate Movie on Demand Channel in Dish TV

1. To activate Movie on Demand , channel 1 send an sms MOD <vc card number> <movie code> to 57575
2. If you want to activate MOD channel 2, sens an sms MOD <vc card number> <movie code> to 57575
3. Press MOD button in dish tv remote 2, to know the movie code for your desired movie in channel 250, channel 251

You should have sufficient balance in your Dish TV account. The cost of a movie will vary from 40 to 100 Rupees. To know the schedule, codes for the movie view the channels 250, 251 in your Dish TV

2. To know the A-La-carte codes for Dish TV packs, visit Dish TV official website.
3. You will receive a confirmation message to your RMN , within few minutes of sending the sms. 

To Add A-la-carte pack in Dish TV :

1. From your registered mobile number, send an sms DISHTV DEL <A-LA-CARTE CODE> <11 DIGIT VC No.> to 57575
2. To know your A-La-carte codes for Dish TV packs, visit MyAccount page in Dish TV or press MyAccount button in your dish TV remote control
3. You will receive a confirmation message to your RMN , within few minutes of sending the sms.
