Are you receiving unwanted calls from banks to buy credit card with exciting offers and like providing loan for your new car and house loan for very minimum interest.
And are you receiving calls from your mobile network to activate dialer tunes for free , to subscribe for news ,cricket score,astrology for free. It they are deducting your talk time balance daily , you can stop them without calling your customer care.
For deactivation of ads in Aircel, Airtel, BSNL, Vodafone, Reliance, Uninor , Docom , Indian Government aided TRAI (Telecom Authority of India) regulations are now upgraded to get relief from these unwanted calls if you wish to stop them.
Please follow the following simple steps to register DO NOT DISTURB. Shortly DND.
Send an SMS START DND to 1909
This is a toll free number. So, you will not be charged for sending any SMS to this Toll free number.
Within few second you will receive a reply message from your mobile network with few options like , if you want to fully block all calls then you have to reply 0 , for partially blocking they will provide some other numbers.
Read carefully the options and choose which option you have to reply.
Reply the provided option for example 0 to 1909
Within 24 hours you will get a confirmation message that you have got registered with Aircel DND.
You can De-register from DND by sending STOP DND to 1909 anytime.
Until you will not receive any calls or promotional SMS from your mobile network.
You can change your subscription after 3 months of activation of DND.
There is a limitation. Your Mobile Network will not send any SMS for full talk time offers or free extra talk time offers if you fully blocked promotional calls and SMS facility
