If you did not have enable Cancellation Protect Feature, then you cannot cancel the movie ticket.
Hence you cannot get any refund money if you don't want to watch the movie once the ticket has been booked.
If the show is cancelled by the theater for some reasons, then you can report it to the paytm through contact us option and get the refund money on your paytm wallet within 48 hours.
The only way is to exchange the ticket with some other friends or sell it on black at the last time, to avoid losing the money. Facebook has some familiar groups for each city where you can post that you are having movie tickets and if somebody is interested you can luckily exchange it for money in a friendly manner.
Still if you have any valid reason for cancelling the movie ticket, then you can give a try to contact Paytm customer care. But the chances for cancelling the ticket and getting your money back is very less.
- Cancellation protect feature entitles the user to an enhanced refund policy on movie ticket bookings through Paytm.
- Cancellation Protect feature is available only for a limited number of seats and on select cinemas.
- In case you opt for Cancellation Protect during the movie ticket booking on Paytm:
- You will receive your movie booking id and seat details 3 hours prior to the show time
- Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made upto 3 hours prior to show time.
- No cancellations are entertained for requests post receiving movie booking id and seat details.
- Upon cancellation up to 3 hours prior to show time, you will receive refund of full ticket price in your Paytm wallet within 24 hrs of cancellation.
- Refund will only be given for the movie ticket amount, any additional amount paid for Cancellation Protect, convenience fee or food and beverages will be non-refundable. Partial cancellation of an order will not be allowed.
- Cancellation Protect charges are non-refundable even if the tickets aren't cancelled.
