Claro Americas : SIM unlock | Get PUK code | Reset PIN number

Claro mobile SIM will have a PIN code and PUK code by default for security reasons. If you enter the PIN code wrongly for three attempts, then it will ask for PUK code.



PUK code will be locked after 5 incorrect attempts. Then you have to replace new SIM.
SO, if the PIN is locked, you should not assume PUK code or should not try any online PUK generator. It will result in SIM lock.



Try any one of the official procedure.

  1. Go to official Claro website. Login in Miclaro page and refer the PUK number in your Account management information. or
  2. Refer your welcome mail , which you have got at the time of purchase of claro SIM card. It might have your PUK number. or
  3. Use Live chat option , which is available in the Claro website to request for your PUK code. or
  4. Contact your Claro helpline number from another Claro mobile or any other telephone number. Refer the below list for your contacting customer helpline for your country.

  • After getting the PUK code , enter it in your locked Claro mobile.
  • Now it will ask to reset your PIN number. Enter new 4 digit PIN number. Now your Claro mobile phone should work normally.

Digitel GSM Venezuela : Get PUK code | SIM unlock | Reset PIN number

The default PIN Number for all Digitel GSM Prepaid and Postpaid mobile SIM card is unique for each mobile SIM

Digitel GSM is the major telecom network which offers high speed data connection to Venezuela customers  through Wireless, Prepaid and postpaid plans.

Digitel GSM Mobile SIM card has an inbuilt PIN code and PUK code for security purpose. The SIM card will be blocked if you enter your PIN number wrongly for 3 times.
Then the Phone will request to enter PUK code to reset your PIN number.



You can find your  Digitel GSM PUK (Personal Unlocking Key) through following methods.

  • Call 121 (from Digitel mobile) or 0412 9121121 (non-toll free number) from other network or Digitel GSM mobile phone
  • Enter the option to speak with customer care
  • Request for a PUK code and note it down
  • Enter it in your locked Digitel GSM mobile phone and reset your PIN number
  • Now your phone will be unlocked..

  • Digitel GSM mobile does not have any exclusive online platform to directly interact with the Digitel GSM customer executive through live chat option. So
>Welcome mail /SMS option


If you have welcome mail that you got when buying the Digitel sim card, you can directly note the PUK code printed in the mail and enter it in your locked mobile phone.
Currently Digitel GSM mobile do not provide option for obtaining PUK code through SMS.
So, Please try any one of the above methods to retrieve you PUK code.


    Maximum Limit for PUK code entering is 10 attempts. Then the SIM be be blocked and need to replace with anew SIM card . So better be careful while entering PUK code


    Register and Activate UAN (Universal Account Number) | Employee Provident Fund

    What is UAN

    UAN (Universal Account Number) is related to Employee Provident Fund . It allows the employee to link multiple PF accounts to a common account. If you switch jobs,the new EPF account is tagged to the UAN. This gives them control of  your PF account in matters related to balance transfers, online passbook download,credit alerts and to update your profile.



    To Register and  Activate UAN :

    Your employer would already registered your UAN with EPFO (Employee Provident Fund Organization). All you have to do is to activate UAN.
    1. Go to EPFO portal
    2. Click the option , Activate your UAN . This can be found in right side of the page, below sign in option.
    3. Check(tick mark) the option "I have read and understood the instructions" . The form will be displayed below.
    4. Enter the UAN number that is allotted for you. Your Employer should have your twelve digit UAN number. UAN number is unique for each employee.
    5. Enter your mobile number. The activation PIN will be sent to this mobile number.
    6. Now, In select state and office , you have to select your employers bank branch state and office. You should ask employer for this information.
    7. The first two boxes of member ID will be filled automatically based on the state and office you have selected.
    8. In third box enter the first half (before the symbol /) of your pension account number. You can get Pension account number in PF account statement
    9. In fourth box, leave blank (fir most cases) or enter the three digit code (after symbol /)
    10. In fifth box, enter the last portion of your Pension account number.
    11. Now type the same letters shown in the "human verification" picture
    12. Click Get PIN. (If you receive any error double check the information you have entered)
    13. Select Agree. Enter the PIN that you have received to your mobile number in the last column.
    14. Now  new page will open which asks Email Id, password for your login.
    15. Once you submit , you will receive an SMS with your login information.

    Your UAN is activated now. You can use your UAN number and password to sign in and use the online options like view online PF passbook, Claim PF amount, Check the status of your PF claim etc.

    UBP/XFER amount debited by Bank | Meaning and Expansion

    Sometimes you can see your bank statement mentioning debit transactions with abbreviation UBP/XFER followed by transaction number .
    Mostly banks like ICICI and Axis bank uses this UBP/XFER abbreviation in the account statement. This article will give you precise information about UBP/XFER abbrevation appeared in your bank statements.


    Expansion for UBP/XFER is Utility Bill Payment / Transfer. Some banks refer it as UBT/XFER.
    Usually banks denote the word transfer as XFER in the transaction statements.

    So, the amount debited related to UBT/XFER transaction might be completely related to online payment that you have recently made.
    It includes utility Bill Payments like Water bill, Gas bill, electricity bill, online Bus Booking, Theater/movie ticket booking, online purchasing like Paytm, Flipkart etc.
