CelStar : Find PUK code | SIM unlock | Reset PIN number

The default PIN Number for all Islandcom wireless Prepaid and Postpaid mobile SIM card is unique for each mobile SIM

Celstar is the major telecom network which offers high speed data connection to Guyana  customers  through Wireless, Prepaid and postpaid plans.

The CelStar Mobile SIM card has an inbuilt PIN code and PUK code for security purpose. The SIM card will be blocked if you enter your PIN number wrongly for 3 times.
Then the Phone will request to enter PUK code to reset your PIN number.

  • Call customer care number of Celstar from other network or Celstar mobile phone
  • Enter the option to speak with customer care
  • Request for a PUK code and note it down
  • Enter it in your locked Islandcom WIreless mobile phone and reset your PIN number
  • Now your phone will be unlocked..

>Retrieve PUK Online
  • Go to official webpage of Islandcom wireless mobile and click the live support option
  • Give your credentials and inform that your phone is locked. They will provide the PUK code after confirming that you are the owner of the SIM card
  • Note the PUK code and enter it in your locked mobile SIM card
  • Now , your mobile will ask to reset the PIN
  • Provide a new PIN and proceed to unlock your phone.

If you have welcome mail that you got when buying the Islandcom wireless sim card, you can directly note the PUK code printed in the mail and enter it in your locked mobile phone.
Currently Islandcom wireless mobile do not provide option for obtaining PUK code through SMS.
So, Please try any one of the above methods to retrieve you PUK code.


    Maximum Limit for PUK code entering is 10 attempts. Then the SIM be be blocked and need to replace with anew SIM card . So better be careful while entering PUK code

    Both Smart, Proximus Mobile SIM card has an inbuilt PIN code and PUK code for security purpose. The SIM card will be blocked if you enter your PIN number wrongly for 3 times.
    Then the Phone will request to enter PUK code to reset your PIN number.

    Proximus - PUK code Unlocking Procedure

    • Call 6030 from other network or Proximus mobile phone (Belgium)
    • Speak with the customer care and request for PUK code.
    • Note it down and enter it in your mobile phone to unlock the SIM card 
    • Now Set a new four digit PIN number.

    Smart - PUK code Unlocking Procedure (Philippines)

    • Smart Mobile users : Call 888 from other smartphone or (02) 888-1111 from landline phone
    • Hear the voice prompt and choose PUK inquiry or PUK release
    • Enter your mobile number and ICCID number (16 digit number printed at sim card)
    • Note down the PUK1 and PUK 2 code.
    • Enter it in your locked Smart mobile phone and reset your PIN number
    • Now your phone will be unlocked..

    Smart Axiata - PUK code Unlocking Procedure (Cambodia)

    • Call 888 from other Smart Axiata mobile phone or +85510200888 from other network or landline phone in Cambodia
    • Speak with the customer care and request for PUK code.
    • Note it down and enter it in your mobile phone to unlock the SIM card 
    • Now Set a new four digit PIN number

    • For smart communications users, you can register and login in the mysmart link in official webpage of smart. Once entered choose Manage Account - Puk Inquiry . Enter ICCID number to view your PUK code.
    • For Proximus users, Login in to Myproximus which is available in official website of Proximus and go to Price Plan. You can view your PUK code in Myservices Box.
