Dish TV: To change the pack through online | SMS code to change Dish TV pack

Dish TV DTH pack can be changed, upgraded through online and also thorugh sms codes. For both methods, you have to register your mobile number first in Dish TV.

To change Dish TV Pack through online

1. Go to official website of Dish TV and click My Account button
2. Log in with your Registered mobile number or 11 digit VC card number. If you forgot your password, click forgot password option to get new one as sms to your registered mobile number
3. Once you logged in to your Main Account page, look for Upgrade Pack option
4. Click it and choose your new pack
5. Click OK to save your pack.

To change Dish TV pack through sms

1. From your registered mobile number, send an sms DISHTV UP <pack price> <11 digit vc card number> to 57575
2. Within few minutes , you will receive an confirmation message about your new Dish TV pack and price.

You can also call Dish TV customer care, to upgrade or change your current Dish TV pack.

TNEB Address change online | TNEB Name transfer

Currently TNEB allow the customers to change or update their address, only through nearby TNEB section office. It is not possible to change the address through online tneb portal.

Steps to change address in TNEB: 

1. Take a photocopy of new address proof, id proof of tneb service holder.
2. Visit the TNEB section office where your street/ village comes under.
3. Approach the tneb officer and request for the address change

Steps to request name transfer in TNEB: 

1. Take a print out of tneb name transfer form. Download the form here.
2. Fill the forms, take photocopies of necessary documents and visit your TNEB section office
3. Approach the tneb officer and request for the address change
4. You have to pay initial registration fee, security deposit if necessary /

Gradually digitization of governance i(e-governance) is taking place all over Inida, in Tamil Nadu. In near future, such process like address change, new eb meter request could be made possible online.

TNEB online payment error | TNEB bill receipt

TNEB online payment error message :

• While paying tneb bill through online, After a successful transaction, if error page is displayed instead of the receipt , kindly check whether your bank account is already debited with the amount of earlier transaction before attempting to pay again for the same service no.
• If the amount is already debited and refunded back, please do not attempt to pay again for the same service no.
• The receipt will be sent to your registered email id in reasonable time after receiving the confirmation from the Bank. Also the receipt can be viewed in the payment report in your login id.

If you do not received the receipt to your registered email, and still the bill amount is shown as unpaid in tneb portal, then you can contact your bank customer care to refund your money back.
