Free Bus service inside Mahindra city-Chennai:
Mahindra city has free shuttle service every 20 minutes that operates only inside mahindra city.There is two free bus. One is from Main Gate (GST Road Bus stop) and the other one is from Paranur Railway station.
- If you come by local suburban train, then get down at Paranur Railway station. Once you come out of the railway station, you can wait for the free Mahindra city bus .
- If you come by Bus, then get down at Mahindra city bus stop and walk left about 200 meters into the mahindra city road. There you can get Mahindra city free bus service. Refer map provided for free bus stop location
Apart from the free Mahindra city bus, you can get MTC bus, but the frequency is very less.
If you reach Mahindra city at peak office time, from 8 am to 9 am , then you can get free shuttle services provided by the respective companies like Infosys, RNTBCI, Tech Mahindra, CapGemini, Wipro, TVS sundaram fasteners etc.
But you have to show the ID card of the company or Interview call letter to board the bus.
Most probably the driver wont ask for ID proof, but if asked you have to show it.
Buses from Tambaram, Chennai side to Mahindracity:
- Almost all the bus which goes to Chengalpet, Villupuram side will stop at Mahindracity Bus stop. You can also get MTC bus towards chengalpet, but the travel time will be more.
- Once you get down at Mahindra City Bus stop, walk 200 meters inside Mahindracity road to get free shuttle services.
- You can get auto-rickshaws anytime with minimum fare of 40 Rs.
Mahindra World CIty Free Bus stop :
Note that , the Free bus will not come to the GST main road Bus stop. You have to walk little distance inside the Mahindracity road, to reach the Free shuttle bus stop.
