Fedex Courier: Procedure for custom clearance for Fedex Cargo Shipment India

In order to receive the cargo shipment, the reciever has to clear the customs procedure for Fedex India.

For fedex Cargo shipments, the following documents would be required from the reciever:
  1. One time KYC mandatory Process. Duly attested form along with supporting doucments like Photocopy of PAN card, Address proof. (Telephone /Electricity Bill/Bank Statement/ Rental Agreement , Certificate of Incorporation
  2. GATT Declaration forms – stamped & signed in original 
  3. Import Declaration forms – stamped & signed in original 
  4. IEC copy (1 time requirement) 
  5. Authority letter (1 time requirement) 
  6. Attested invoice copy along with packing list 
  7. Catalogue / Technical write-up 
  8. Tin Number. (1 time requirement) 
  9. E Sugam ( Before clearance) 
In case of Duty exemptions please provide the necessary certificate / notification.

Clearance Charges for FEDEx shipments: 

  1. Custom Clearance Charge  : INR 2850/- including D.O Chargers. 
  2. Service Tax   : As per applicable govt. rates. 
  3. AAI (Warehouse) Charges  : As per actual receipts 
  4. Customs Duty : At actual 
  5. For duties and other statutory charges paid by FedEx – Duty advancement fees of 2.5% on total invoice amount OR INR 350/- whichever is higher will be applicable
