NX Advanced Simulation: coordinates of a node in NX

Nodes and Elements are the basic entities of Finite element modeling. Each node has a three dimensional definition , represented in the form of coordinates (x,y,z) in 3D space.

To know the coordinates of a node in NX Advanced simulation :

1. In NX Advanced simulation, to know the the 3D coordinates of a node, Go to Menu → Information → Point
2. Now selec the desired point and select OK
3. A new information window will open that contains the 3D coordinates of the node

If you are not able to select the node, ensure that the filter option is set to "No selection filter"

You can use Reset Filters icon available in the oo bar, to reset all filter options including type, color, layer filters to the original state.
