To Change Short Message service center number (SMSC) in Android ,Iphone 4s : Aircel

Short Message Center Number (SMSC)

All the SMS (messages) that we compose and send to another recipient will be sent first to a common place , called message center and then it will be transferred to the recipient from your mobile network.

How to change Message center number in Android, Iphone smartphones :

For Android phones including Moto G, Xperia  and iphone 4s , Nokia smart phones, you can set this SMSC by following this procedure
Messages → Setting → Text messages(SMS) → SMS service Center → Enter your SMS center number in the box displayed → Tap on OK

Only For Aircel Customers :

Digi Malaysia : Know PUK code | SIM Unlock | PIN code Reset

Guide to get or recover PUK code for Digicel SIM:

Entering 3 times PIN code wrongly will result in SIM lock and the phone will ask to enter PUK code.


Method 1 : Through Online :

1. Go to Official website of Digi - Malaysia .
2. Click MyOCS option. Register and Login with your mobile number or network id.
3. Now, once you login , you can view your PUK information available in Account management page.

Method 2 : From SIM card holder
If you have the sim card holder, then you are lucky. You can find the PUK number for you Digi SIM card printed on your SIM card holder or SIM pack.
Either you can refer , if you have received any welcome mail at the time of buying new SIM card.

Method 3 : Through Helpline:
The last but best way is to contact the Digi helpline number 016-2211800 from any other Digi mobile or land line mobile , and request PUK number by providing your network ID and SIM number.
Currently Digi does not provide SMS, USSD option to retrieve PUK number .

NX: To set Manual Boundary, Circular Boundary for views using curves in UG NX Drafting

By default we can set the boundary of a drawing view as automatic rectange, in which the boundary will be automatically set based on the geometry of the view.



If you want to manually increase or decrease the boundary then you can right click on the view and select View Boundary → Choose Manual Rectangle → Now draw a manual rectangle as per your requirement.

Apart from these two types of boundary, we can also set a boundary using the curves that are drawn manually.

To draw a manual boundary (border) for a drawing view in UG NX Drafting,

1. Right click on the view and select Active sketch view.
2. Now draw a manual boundary using lines and arc commands. Ensure that the boundary you have drawn is closed completely
3. Now choose Finish Sketch
4. Right click on the Default rectangular border and select the option View Boundary
5. Select the option Bound By Objects
6. Now select the manual curves drawn by you as a new boundary
7. Press OK and you can see the curves you have drawn by you will act as you new boundary.
8. If you want to hide the boundary curves, then you can select the curves, right click and hide them.

Best Practices while writing an Email

Best Practices while writing an Email:

1. Do not mark important , unless otherwise it is really very important. The receiver will get a bad impression , if you continuously send mails with important, urgent marks unnecessarily
2. Use 1.5 line Spacing options instead of using double enter option. You can avail this option by Right click on white space → Paragraph → Indents and Spacing. Now in Line spacing option choose 1.5 lines, instead of single spacing. Your content will look pleasing if you use 1.5 lines instead of pressing double enter key.
3. Avoid all CAPS or all lowercase. Use Proper upper casing and lower casing. It will improve the readability.
4. Make the subject line as precise and simple with important Key words. Example : "Agenda for Board Meeting - Week 26"
5. Do not use BCC, (Blind carbon copy) option for formal mail communications. It is not a good practice to hide the recipient information . The information you communicate should be transparent and clear, to avoid misunderstanding.
6. Use Reply , Reply to all based on the situation. It will avoid unnecessary cc in mail communications .
7. Do not use Red and Green color , unless otherwise it is necessary. It is recommended to completely avoid it. Just use Blue color if you really feel to highlight important words
8. Completely writing an email in Bold Red, Bold Green is strictly NO.
9. Do not reply for an email in a frustrating mood. By chance if you have composed an harsh email , just save it as draft. Go for coffee and come back and reread the mail again and delete the words that you feel harsh. Finally most of the times,you will realize, no to send the mail, you have saved before.

To Strike out words , Reduce the font size of Sticky notes in WIndows 7 , Windows 8, Windows 10

Sticky notes is one of the favorite desktop gadget for most of us ,that organize our tasks simply , for both office and personal works.

To strike Out words in Sticky notes:

• Select the words you want to strike out.
• Now press the shortcut key , Ctrl + t. Note that strike lines will not appear for smaller font size. Increase font size and try again.
• Thats it, To remove strike out select the word again and press , Ctrl + t

To Reduce Font size of words in Sticky notes:

By default, the font size of the sticky note is bit larger and there is no direct option provided to reduce the font size in Windows 7 and Windows 8.


This simple shortcut trick will allow you to increase or decrease the font size of sticky notes in Windows.

1. Open sticky notes
2. Type the notes inside the sticky note
3. Now select the text that you want to reduce the font size.
4. Press Ctrl+ Shift + < . Now you can see the font size is reduced one step smaller.
5. If you want to reduce further, press Ctrl + Shift + < Again.

If you want to increase the font size, you can use shortcut Ctrl + Shift + >, by selecting the desired text.

This trick will work in Windows 7 and Windows 8 as well.
