Sure Falkland Islands:SIM unlock | Get PUK code | Reset PIN number

The default PIN Number for all Islandcom wireless Prepaid and Postpaid mobile SIM card is unique for each mobile SIM

Sure Southland Atlantic is the major telecom network which offers high speed data connection to falkland islands customers  through Wireless, Prepaid and postpaid plans.

Sure mobile SIM card has an inbuilt PIN code and PUK code for security purpose. The SIM card will be blocked if you enter your PIN number wrongly for 3 times.

Then the Phone will request to enter PUK code to reset your PIN number.

>Find PUK through Helpline

• Call toll freephone 131 from Sure mobile or +500 20800 from any other landline or mobile phone.
• Enter the option to speak with customer care
• Request for a PUK code and note it down
• Enter it in your locked Islandcom WIreless mobile phone and reset your PIN number
• Now your phone will be unlocked..

>Retrieve PUK Online

• Currently there is no online option available in Sure South Atlantic. So the best way to know and unlock PUK code is to contact the helpline number.

>Welcome mail /SMS option

If you have welcome mail that you got when buying the Sure mobile sim card, you can directly note the PUK code printed in the mail and enter it in your locked mobile phone.
Currently Sure mobile service do not provide option for obtaining PUK code through SMS.

So, Please try any one of the above methods to retrieve you PUK code.

Maximum Limit for PUK code entering is 10 attempts. Then the SIM be be blocked and need to replace with anew SIM card . So better be careful while entering PUK code

VOX Paraguay : SIM unlock | Get PUK code | Reset PIN number

The default PIN Number for all VOX Paraguay Prepaid and Postpaid mobile SIM card is unique for each mobile SIM

VOX is the major telecom network which offers high speed data connection to Paraguay customers  through Wireless, Prepaid and postpaid plans.

VOX Paraguay Mobile SIM card has an inbuilt PIN code and PUK code for security purpose. The SIM card will be blocked if you enter your PIN number wrongly for 3 times.

Then the Phone will request to enter PUK code to reset your PIN number.

You can find your VOX  PUK (Personal Unlocking Key) through following methods.

• Call 021 493 640 (non-toll free number) from other network or VOX mobile phone
• Enter the option to speak with customer care
• Request for a PUK code and note it down
• Enter it in your locked VOX mobile phone and reset your PIN number
• Now your phone will be unlocked..

>Retrieve PUK Online

• VOX Paraguay mobile has an exclusive online platform to manage the SIM related complaints.
• Go to official webpage of VOX Paraguay mobile and click MYaccount option
• Give your credentials and inform that your phone is locked. They will provide the PUK code after confirming that you are the owner of the SIM card
• Note the PUK code and enter it in your locked mobile SIM card
• Now , your mobile will ask to reset the PIN
• Provide a new PIN and proceed to unlock your phone.

Revised Income tax and Service tax charges effective from today

The Government has revised the service taxes and income tax and it is effective from today.

Income Tax:

• Your Bank / PO will deduct TDS on RD (Recurring Deposit) if interest more than 10000/- PA.
• Here after, the Real Estate Transaction for Rs.20,000/- or more to be made by cheque / banking channel only
• If any Payments exceeding Rs.1 Lac, PAN is required to be quoted.
• The Payments to Transporter exceeding Rs.30,000/- or Rs.75,000/- per annum, TDS to be deducted.
• All the Payments to NRI / Foreign Companies, Etc., Form # 15CA & 15CB required.

Service Tax:

Service Tax will be charged @ 14%. In case of Abated Rates, following rates are applicable:

•  Lodging: 8.40%
•  Restaurant: 5.60%
• Catering: 8.40%
•  Hall with Catering: 9.80%
•  Vehicle Rent: 5.60%
• GTA Transports: 4.20%
•  Builder- Res: 3.50%
•  Builder-Comm: 4.20%
•  Civil Contractor with Mat: 5.60%
•  Erection with Material: 5.60%
•  Repair / Maintenance of Building or goods: 9.80%

To insert date picker in Excel

It would be time consuming to enter the date manually ,every time in a cell.
Instead we can insert a date picker calender , so that the user can pick the date on clicking the cell and choosing the date from displayed calender.

Steps to Insert date picker in Excel :

1. There are so many ready made add ins available for date picker. I recommend RDB Date Picker add-in from my experience. Extract the zip file and keep the .xlma add-in file in you desktop location.
2. Now Open Microsoft Excel , any version is applicable.
3. Go to File→Options→Add-ins
4. Now select Excel Add-ins in the Manage option and Press Go
5. A new small Add-ins form will open. Select Browse and choose the .xlma file that you have saved in desktop location.
6. Thats it. You have added the date picker option in your Excel workbook and it can be used in all workbooks but only in your PC.
7. Now Pick any cell that you want to insert date. Right click on the cell and choose Date Picker.
   A calender opens now. Double click on the date to insert the date. You can change the format of the date if you wish, in change settings options.
